🌌 Flight from the Void

Long ago, before Jankenmura's fields were cleared, the ancestors of the Blitz Lineage flew through the shifting currents of the Void. In that endless dark, they were hunted by the elder beasts of the abyss, escaping only by their incredible speed and erratic flight.

Seeking safety, they crossed the rift and found refuge in the peaceful, sunlit valley of Jankenmura. Here, they nested in the quiet storm towers, trading the terror of the Void for the peace of our small village, though they still carry the static of their old home in their feathers.

⚡ Electric Companions

Blitz lineages are rumored to have first hatched in storm towers where iron weather vanes bent toward the eggs instead of the wind. Their chicks twitch, dart, and chirp in broken rhythms, as if hearing thunder before anyone else does.

Blitz fighters are restless, clever, and easily bored by slow routines. They thrive under trainers who give them challenges, movement, and precise timing. Affection from a Blitz is rarely quiet; it arrives as sparks, headbutts, and excited wing snaps.

At full maturity, adult fighters of this lineage stand at about 2.5 ft. They are compact thunder ravens and are depicted with normal bird head-to-body proportions, structurally reading like a raven and hawk hybrid.

Depending on their sex, hatchlings of this lineage receive specific permanent attribute bonuses to kickstart their training:

In the arena, combat exchanges resolve based on move probabilities. This lineage follows these active weights:

📋 Combat Mechanics

  • Favorite Move Accuracy: A bloodline is slightly more accurate with its favorite move. For Blitz, playing Scissors hits more often, punishing opponents who play Paper.
  • Ideal Attributes: With their lightning speed, Blitz excels at building AGI (Speed) and DEX (Aim) to maximize dodge chances and critical strikes.
  • The Jump Advantage: A 10% chance to execute a Jump. A jumping fighter becomes airborne, dodging all standard attacks. Upon landing, they enter the Jump State, making their next attack deal +50% ATK if they win the following exchange.

🥚 The Blitz Egg

Cost: 200 coins in the Laboratory Pharmacy.

"A storm-charged egg that tingles against the palm. Blitz eggs gather static from thunderheads and cracked storm stones. Trainers say the shell sometimes flashes before a hatch, as if the creature inside is already testing the sky."

🥗 Favorite & Disliked Foods

Upon hatching, each fighter is assigned a randomized **Favorite Crop Category** and **Disliked Crop Category** from the game's crops (such as Savory, Grains, or Roots). They must be different:

  • Feeding Favorite Crops: Grants +1% Affection (Happiness) and a +5% training EXP bonus.
  • Feeding Disliked Crops: Upsets the fighter, reducing happiness by -5%.

🧪 Breeding Station Rules

Trainers can pair compatible adult gladiators in the Laboratory Breeding Room to create advanced bred eggs:

  • Same-Lineage Only: You must breed a Male and a Female of the exact same lineage. Cross-lineage breeding is not allowed.
  • Fighter Age: Parents must be between 15 and 49 days old.
  • Affection Threshold: Both parents must have at least 80 Affection toward you.
  • Breeding Cost: Baseline 200 coins + 10 coins per combined point of parent stats. Parent fighters are locked in incubation for 1 game day (144 ticks).
